Mabel used to be a stubborn kid. One time at school, she got in trouble for trying to save pet animals and let them loose. After being reprimanded, she was sent to her grandmother who introduced her to the glade–a serene, beautiful place where she feels at peace. Soon, Mabel learns just how soothing to the soul being among nature is. She developed a love for the glade and all the creatures in it.

Before her grandmother passed, she asked Mabel to protect the glade, which the young girl took to heart.

Years later, progress and politics have put the glade at risk of destruction. Plans to build a bridge over it have displaced the animals, which infuriates the young girl. Determined to save the glade, Mabel does everything she can to bring stop the construction and restore the glade to its pristine glory.
